Jason Colodne Establishes Quality Across All Spectrums

Not many people find great success in the world of investment-based financial trading. Even fewer make a living in Hollywood. Jason Colodne joins the select classes of both industries. He did not merely find a level of success that provides for a decent living. Mr. Colodne excelled at both. As an investment professional, he proved his worth with established companies before co-founding a capital management firm. In the motion picture industry, Colodne was part of the lead team that brought blockbuster hits to the big screen. All this occurred, not as a pure specialist, as is so often the case when organizations in the film industry seek authentication for their productions. Rather, Jason Colodne is an individual that has mastered several disciplines.

Before venturing out to establish his own investment firm, Jason Colodne contributed to the success of Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs. After proving himself at these companies, he felt a need to express his creative side. In 2009, Colodne co-founded Colbeck Capital Management. He lead the company out of New York as Managing Partner. This required him to demonstrate how adept he was in a variety of disciplines. He excelled at overseeing the execution of the company’s most valuable investment. Among the traits that Colodne used to ensure success were high level practices that supported documentation, diligence, and various aspects of portfolio management. Unlike hands off managers that govern their success from behind the veil of talented executives, Colodne pressed forward into active investment strategies. This would prove invaluable for his future ventures. Learn more about Jason Colodne at colbeck.com

Many people spend a lifetime trying to break into the movie business. Not all demonstrate the type of talent needed to succeed. Jason Colodne undeniably has what it takes. Often actors are type casts. Many organizations in the film industry undergo a similar type of classification. However, Mr. Colodne shatters the conventional thought processes that siphon energy out of the motion picture industry. He demonstrates that success can be achieved at a high level regardless of what type of movie is being produced. The films Colodne was a part of have been classified as drama, romance, thriller, adventure, family, music, action, crime, and even science fiction. Hollywood certainly does not see him as some popular sports or social figure that is hired to be the face of a film.

JD.com Partners with Nespresso as Part of Environmental Protection Efforts

China’s Nespresso customers will now find it easier to recycle the capsules thanks to the partnership with Jingdong for a doorstep recycling program. The company designed a page for recycling that was integrated into the mini WeChat program already in place by Nepresso. The program can be used anywhere in China to have a courier from JD.com pick up the discarded capsules.

Location of User

The service was previously available only to commercial customers to have the coffee capsules delivered. Jingdong will take the Nespresso capsules to the closet recycling facility in Shanghai, Beijing, or Guangzhou based on where the user was located. Novelty products such as knives with the Nespresso branding will be made from the aluminum while the used grounds will be used to fertilize Nespresso’s Chongming Island eco-farm.

Brand Responsibility

Nespresso is honored to work with JD.com on the project and believes that it is the brand’s responsibility to be sustainable for the environment. It is also a core factor in the business strategy for the company. The support of the in-house logistics network from JD.com gives the company the ability to reach an increasing number of customers and increase the scale that recycling of the company’s coffee capsules is done on. Nespresso’s goal is to recycle 100% of the products around the world during 2020.

Jingdong’s Take on the Partnership

JD.com sees protecting the environment as a top priority. The company sees the partnership with Nespresso as giving them the ability to leverage the company’s logistics into a way to make it easier for businesses and their customers to be green. JD.com intends to participate in more efforts to make businesses more environmentally friendly as they move forward.

Jingdong has previously done a large scale collection of used closed from Chinese households in an effort to help with developing more sustainable retail practices.

Jeunesse Global Receives Top Award For Best Place To Work

Is your employer one of the best places to work in its industry? It is a difficult title to earn, but some companies do it better than others. You can tell when a company is really going out of its way to try to make things right for their employees. The employees are just happier in general, and it stands out.

Jeunesse Global has one again been honored as a top place to work in direct sales by Direct Selling News. It is an industry publication that seeks to spotlight the things that are going on throughout the industry. They like to try to point out some businesses that are going above and beyond for their employees.

The survey itself is a pretty labor intensive undertaking that requires that Direct Selling News teams up with another firm to collect the data and tabulate the results. They want to make sure that they get all of the facts and figures just right, and they can only do this by working together.

A completely anonymous survey is given to employees of various direct selling companies. Those employees are asked to fill them out and give their honest opinions about the employers that they work for. An employer must have at least a certain number of employees fill out the survey and return it before they can even be considered for the competition. When this happens, the results are calculated and the winners are announced.

Jeunesse Global executives had a few words to say about how they have tried to establish the company as a place that is family-oriented and focused on making the work life of their employees the best that it can be. It is not an easy job and no one ever claimed that it would be, but Jeunesse Global cares deeply about creating a great experience for everyone who deals with them from employees to the customers that they serve.

The bottom line is that this is a company that consistently wins these types of awards, and they are well deserved according to the work that they do.

Alastair Borthwick Shares The Beauty Of The Human Experience

At only 16 years of age, Alastair Borthwick began a career in journalism by leaving high school to start working for a small, local paper known as the Evening Times. While working for this paper, he held the position of copy taker before moving on to a slightly larger publication known as The Glasgow Weekly Herald. While working at the Glasgow Herald, he began writing for various columns and features of the paper but started to get a following for the pieces that he was writing for their column known as “Open Air”. Alastair Borthwick had discovered an interest in the sport of climbing. In particular, he enjoyed being able to climb the rolling hills of his home country of Scotland, but he also found himself traveling to other parts of Europe to find what the world would bring him.

While the sport of climbing was something that enthralled Alastair Borthwick until he passed away in 2003, he found himself enjoying the people that were part of the experience as well. In fact, it was the experiences that he had with the rest of the people hiking through the countryside that left the biggest impact on the beloved writer. The book Always a Little Further collected the different pieces that he had written for the “Open Air” column while working for The Glasgow Weekly Herald on the subject of climbing. Always a Little Further was first published in the year 1939 and is considered a classic of the genre.

Readers of today still enjoy the works of Alastair Borthwick which includes not just Always a Little Further, but also a work that was first released under the name Sans Peur. Sans Peur shared the experiences that Alastair Borthwick had while serving his country during World War II. While war is a horrifying experience, it also brings out the best in humanity as well. The friendships and brotherhood that forms during times of war is something that cannot be compared to anything else and he was able to share this with the world.
